During Christmas, the Arboretum is lit up with bright and colourful lights. They make the walk magical! There's so much to look at; lights and noises everywhere. It was a truly beautiful experience and I would love to go again next year. It is a very popular event that most people struggle to get tickets for. I understand why now. These pictures definitely do not show the magical atmosphere that the lights created but, they still show part of it. Just a pre-warning: this is a post for those of you that like to see lots of pictures!

I have to say that I am quite proud of this picture. It looks so pretty and actually shows the magical atmosphere. The way that lights were used was so effective and definitely made me feel all Christmassy. This one also shows the amount of people that were there. The paths were very full and it was also very muddy, so most people wore their welly boots. It often became quite crowded in places but, that just added to the atmosphere. Disco balls were used to create the spread light rays and it was gorgeous! I think the disco balls were my favourite parts!

As well as a festive Christmas treat, this would make a lovely romantic walk. It's so warming to be able to spend time with your family in such a beautiful and festive place!
Have you ever been to a Christmas event that is a bit unusual?
