For a few weeks now, I have been using the NYX Butter Glosses which I bought near Boxing Day 2014. One of my friends actually found me these in Next during the after Christmas sales. They were on sale at £2 each instead of the usual price of £5, which I couldn't resist. I had never actually heard of these until she mentioned them, but I did want to try some NYX products, as I had seen and heard some good reviews!

I fell in love with these butter glosses as soon as my friend gave them to me! They are just so amazing and I wear them so so much! They are very versatile and can be used alone, or with another lipstick to add a glossy look. There is such a large range of colours to chose from, so I am just so glad that I didn't have to chose a colour. I am definitely planning on purchasing more colours in the future because they are my new love affair!

The texture of this lipgloss is amazing! It's so soft and unlike many other lipglosses they are not sticky at all. They are very moisturising and I often use them when I am having a bad experience with keeping my lips soft (especially in the cold winter months). They have a really appealing sweet smell and have a sheer to medium coverage. I think that these lip glosses are named perfectly; they actually do feel like I would imagine butter to feel like if you smothered it onto your lips. It's unbelievably soft!

Sadly, as you can see in this picture, my red Cherry Pie Butter Gloss snapped at the rim while in my school bag, which makes me very sad! However, I can still use it thankfully!
I would definitely recommend these to anyone who has been thinking about buying them, or to anyone who really wants to try a new lipgloss. I have never been a big lipgloss fan, but these are just amazing!

So, when I first got this palette, the first thing that struck me was obviously the appearance. Although it is a very simple looking palette, it works! I also realised something that I wasn't actually aware of; this palette is meant to be the dupe for the Naked palette.

When I first used this palette, I wasn't actually too impressed at all. I felt that it wasn't very pigmented and to me it seemed like you pay for what you get. This was when I was using it for a light nude eye and I was mainly using the lighter shades. They just didn't seem to be showing up very well and it look many layers to build it up. However, when I went back to use it again, I used the darker colours, and I was very happy. I feel that due to the fact I am used to using darker and very pigmented eye shadows, I was expecting too much from eye shadows that are meant to be light. Still, it does take a while to build up colour on the eyelid.

As you can see from the swatches that I have placed into this post at the bottom, shades 1-6 aren't very dark and don't show up very well. I had to apply a few layers to get the to show up. However. these shades are good for brightening the corners of your eyes just to make them vaguely lighter, without making it look hugely different from the rest of your eye.

Personally, I have two favourite shades. I adore the shades 6 and 7 (the ones with an asterix next to them). They're gorgeous golden colours which glimmer. I find that these shades are perfect because they're quite subtle but they can still be seen. I also love to have a natural golden eye, especially in the summer.

Another reason that I am happy with this palette is that there is a range of different types of eyeshadows: shimmers, and mattes. Mattes are just so useful when blending and creating a natural day look, while on the other hand, shimmers are great for an evening out.

All in all, I would say that this is a good quality palette that I would recommend due to it being cheap compared to so many other palettes. I do not have the Naked palette, but I do have the Naked 2 and I feel that it is better quality and personally, I would rather spend more to get a more trusted, and what I personally feel as a better palette. However, I think I may think about purchasing the Iconic 2 palette by Makeup Revolution as they are only £4 and maybe I might prefer the shades.

First of all, I wanted to say that I was planning on doing a winter look book for this post but unfortunately I haven't been able to get any nice pictures, so I hope this is a good alternative! Let me know in the comments!

Over the past year, I have managed to accumulate many Body Shop products and I have ended up with a very broad collection. My Nan used to sell for Body Shop and so therefore I have got a few little bits from her that have been added to my collection.

Brushes
These are my favourite brushes of all. I was given these by my Nan as she no longer uses them and I was going to buy some new ones. I adore the eye brushes because there are so many different angled and sized brushes that you can experiment with anything! They are also made from real horse hair which makes them very soft and easy to wash. In this set I also have a few face brushes which I don't tend to use much as I have another collection of brushes that I use for my face.

Chocomania Soap
I cannot explain my love for this product. It is exactly what it says; it smells of chocolaty heaven and it is just so so amazing! It has little coco pigments inside of the soap so that when you use it, it also exfoliates. I have had a lot of soaps before that have caused my skin to feel very dry and tight after using them but this soap is so moisturising! I also adore this soap because although it is coloured, it doesn't irritate my skin like other coloured soaps have done in the past!

This is my go to makeup product to make me look illuminated recently. It just gives your skin a really natural glow and it can be used alone, or with foundation and other products.

I just love, love, love this product at the moment! It makes such a good base to apply makeup onto. It makes me skin so soft and it honestly does make my makeup last a whole lot longer in relation to how it used to when I didn't wear primer! It also makes my makeup feel a lot less clumpy and gives my skin a glow. I'm sure I will be repurchasing this product again!

Now, I have to admit that this isn't really my thing at the moment but I think that as the summer arrives, it could look pretty cool. I received it from my mum in my Christmas stocking. It's basically a little pot with hair chalk inside, and you run your hair through it and it makes your hair pink! It is very pigmented and very bright, but you can make it what ever tone that you would like.

I have had this product for a while but I only really tend to wear it in Summer as I like to have more coverage in the winter months. It's not one of my favourite products due to the fact that they only provide one shade and because I am quite pale, it looks quite dark on me. That aside, it is a really nice BB cream with a good coverage. I would recommend it to anyone with mid-dark toned skin.

I haven't actually tried this product yet, but if you have been reading my last few posts, you will have seen this in my London haul! I got this product free for taking out a rewards card with The Body Shop! I can't wait to try it though because it sounds amazing!!

Every year, without fail, I receive lip balms for my birthday or for Christmas. I get so happy when people buy me The Body Shop lip balms because they smell amazing, feel amazing and protect my lips very well. My personal favourite is the Passionberry one because it reminds me of the summer months!

You may be wondering what's in the little pots? Well, they're free samples I got when I went to London! The pot to the right has a serum inside while the one to the left has an argon oil body lotion. I have been using both of these products for about a week now and I love them both. I think I may even have to purchase them in full! Since I started using them, I have seen a small change in my skin; it has been a lot softer and it feels a lot healthier.

I hope you have enjoyed this post, I am hoping to have my winter look book up before winter ends. Hopefully, I can get somewhere nice to take some pictures!
